I know the latest craze it to brush your teeth with “dirt” aka Bentonite clay or activated charcoal. However, as a dental hygienist, I strongly recommend staying away from both ingredients. The reason being you only have one coating of enamel…if you wear through it you cannot “grow” it back. There have been NO long-term studies on how it affects the enamel with consistent use. Plus, both ingredients are binding agents so if you take prescription medication, you take the chance of binding up the medication in your system. Simply Silver Toothpaste uses only the best and safest ingredients. I use no Fluoride, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (which can cause canker sores and is the foaming agent in toothpaste), parabens, phthalates, dyes, TEA, carbomer, or chemicals of any kind. Instead, I use calcium powder and non-aluminum baking soda as a base which has stood the test of time in safety testing. I also use coconut oil to make it a creamy paste because coconut oil is naturally anti-bacterial. All of my products contain colloidal silver which has been around for centuries and is used in a myriad of different products. Xylitol is also an ingredient because it helps remineralize your teeth and helps reduce the pH in your mouth. Simply Silver Toothpaste also contains Himalayan salt because it is mineral-rich and also helps to fight stains and is sweetened with stevia.

Coconut oil, Sucragel (glycerin, caprylic triglyceride, aqua, sucrose laurate, sucrose stearate), Cornstarch, Xylitol, Calcium Carbonate, Arrowroot, Proprietary blend of baking soda and nano hydroxyapatite, Spearmint extract, Essential oil blend of spearmint, tea tree and neem, Stevia, Colloidal silver (24 ppm), Cellulose gum, Sucrablend (sucrose stearate, sucrose palmitate), and Mentha arvensis (menthol). This  toothpaste doubles as an oil pull. Please note: Coconut oil is temperature sensitive.

Adults and children 2 years and older, use a pea size amount twice daily for beautiful, shiny teeth. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after use. **Best at room temperature (68-78 degrees Fahrenheit). If tube becomes firm, run under warm water.

Please do not compare SST to other toothpaste. This is a coconut oil-based product that does not contain any foaming agents. It can be oily at times and is temperature sensitive so please keep that in mind. SST is extremely mild and has helped my sensitive teeth tremendously. On the RDA chart of abrasiveness, SST is only a 49. Anything over a 70 is considered abrasive. Even Sensodyne is between a 72-79 on the scale. Arginine is a key ingredient that helps eliminate sensitivity.
