Heather the Hygienist is a certified biological dental hygienist, a certified registered dental hygienist, and an orofacial myofunctional therapist for 25 years. She grew up on a farm in Minnesota and Wisconsin but moved to Florida in the '80s. Her parents were hippies and loved all things natural so that started her on a path to wellness especially after one of her twin daughters had serious health problems including food allergies. It wasn't until 2010, however, that Heather started to look into the chemicals in commercial products. On a mission to provide patients with the cleanest, most effective oral care products on the market, Heather created Simply Silver Mouthwash, Toothpaste, and Breath Spray. She is the author of The Great Tooth Deception: Revealing the Dark Side of Dentistry and Dentistry Made Easy, a public speaker, practicing clinician, personal dental consultant, wife, and mom to beautiful twin daughters. I bought both the cinnamon and the mint. It makes my mouth feel SO clean! I love it. I use the peppermint in the morning to freshen up and the cinnamon at night. I've got a crazy off-label use for this stuff though. I put a bit of coconut oil (or mct oil) on my lips and dab the cinnamon mouthwash on it. Cinnamon naturally plumps the lips and brings out the color of them without the nasty chemicals of most beauty products.
